How listing verification works
Publication requires organization approval, completed proof, and operator review.
Consent comes first
A church or ministry is not listed publicly just because its information is available elsewhere. An authorized representative must approve public listing, and the listing remains private until that approval and review are complete.
Submitting a request is not approval and does not automatically create or publish a listing.
Proof and review
The operator checks the organization's official presence and the required authority evidence before publication. If consent or proof is incomplete, the listing stays out of the public directory.
Public pages exclude direct contact details. An organization can request correction or removal through the private contact form.
How consent works here
An organization is not listed publicly because its information is available somewhere else. InGather requires an authorized representative to approve public listing. That approval matters: without it, information remains private rather than moving into the public directory. A submitted request does not count as approval. It also does not create a listing or publish one. The operator checks the organization's official presence and the required authority evidence before publication. If consent is incomplete, the listing stays out of the directory. If proof is incomplete, the listing also stays out. Both consent and proof must be complete for a listing to move through review. Public pages exclude direct contact details. For a correction or removal, an organization can contact InGather through the private contact form. The public directory is limited to information that has passed the consent and review steps; it is not a copy of every organization with information online.
